Disciplined. Transparent.

At Thurton Auto Centre, we operate with a singular philosophy: precision over convenience. The modern vehicle is a complex ecosystem of sensors, software, and mechanical components that requires a disciplined approach to maintenance. We don't believe in "parts-darts" diagnostics, a common industry practice where components are replaced based on a hunch until the problem resolves. Instead, we utilise evidence-led methodologies to identify the root cause of any issue. This ensures every repair is necessary, accurate, and lasting. Our commitment to transparency begins the moment you contact our office team. We provide clear communication from the initial booking through to vehicle collection, ensuring you're never left in the dark about the status or cost of your repairs.

Specialist Expertise vs. Basic Convenience

Choosing a garage often comes down to proximity, yet for safety-critical systems, technical grade matters more than ease of access. Whilst a standard oil change might seem routine, the technical requirements for a modern MOT test or complex engine work demand a higher tier of professional competence. Our independent status allows us to invest in the specific vehicle diagnostics equipment and training that many generalist providers overlook. This systematic approach ensures you receive a clinical assessment of your vehicle's health, backed by data rather than guesswork. It's about accountability; we provide clear, evidence-based reports so you understand the "how" and "why" behind every recommendation.

A Facility Built for Every Vehicle

Our workshop is engineered for versatility. We provide the same level of meticulous care to a compact family hatchback as we do to a 6-berth motorhome or a high-voltage electric vehicle. This breadth of capability is supported by our Fit for Purpose promise, a commitment that ensures every vehicle leaving our facility is genuinely road-ready and safe. Whether you require specialist EV servicing or a complex chassis repair, our facility is equipped with the professional-grade tools required for modern automotive standards. This technical mastery is why drivers across Norfolk and Suffolk bypass closer options to visit thurton auto centre. They aren't just looking for a garage; they're looking for a trusted specialist who values safety as much as they do.

Comprehensive MOT Testing and Precision Servicing

Many high-street "quick-fit" providers focus on volume and speed, often at the expense of technical depth. At thurton auto centre, we take a different approach. We believe that every vehicle deserves a forensic level of attention, whether it is visiting for a routine inspection or a complex repair. Our technicians provide evidence-based reporting, which means you receive a clear, visual account of your vehicle's health. You see exactly what our experts see. This transparency removes the anxiety of unexpected findings and ensures that every recommendation is backed by clinical evidence rather than vague assumptions.

Class 4 MOT Inspections in Thurton

The MOT is more than just a legal hurdle; it is a critical safety audit. We conduct Class 4 testing in strict accordance with the official government guidance on MOT testing, ensuring your car or light van meets every environmental and road-safety standard. Our technicians look beyond the basics, examining braking efficiency, steering components, and structural integrity with disciplined precision. Common failure points, such as deteriorated suspension bushes or minor lighting faults, are often identified early. By choosing a specialist facility, you ensure that these issues are handled with professional-grade accuracy. Learn more about our MOT Class 4 services to understand how we maintain these rigorous standards for Norfolk drivers.

Precision servicing is the cornerstone of vehicle longevity. A standard oil change is merely a fluid swap, but a professional service at thurton auto centre involves a comprehensive systematic check of all safety-critical systems. We exclusively use OE-quality parts and manufacturer-approved lubricants. This is a vital distinction, as it ensures your manufacturer's warranty remains fully protected whilst maintaining the vehicle's future resale value. Our methodical process ensures that nothing is overlooked, from the condition of your brake fluid to the subtle signs of component wear that could lead to a breakdown if left unaddressed.

Tailored Care Plans for Long-Term Reliability

Managing the costs of high-quality maintenance shouldn't be a source of stress. We've developed Car Care Plans designed to help you budget for essential servicing and MOTs through manageable monthly payments. Regular, disciplined maintenance is always the most cost-effective way to operate a vehicle, as it prevents the catastrophic failures that stem from neglect. You can build your custom service and maintenance plan online to suit your specific annual mileage and vehicle type. If your vehicle is due for its annual inspection, you can easily book your slot online or speak with our office team for professional guidance.

Specialist Care for Motorhomes and Caravans

Owning a motorhome or caravan represents a significant financial and emotional investment. These vehicles are complex, combining the mechanical requirements of a heavy vehicle with the intricate systems of a mobile home. At thurton auto centre, we treat these leisure vehicles with the specialised care they require, moving beyond the basic maintenance offered by generalist garages. Mechanical servicing for a motorhome chassis is fundamentally different from a standard van service. It involves a disciplined inspection of load-bearing components, braking systems, and tyres that often endure unique stresses from being stationary for long periods or carrying constant maximum loads.

Safety within the living quarters is equally critical. Whilst the official MOT testing standards ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, they do not account for the safety of your internal gas and electrical systems. Our technicians perform rigorous LPG gas safety inspections to identify potential leaks or carbon monoxide risks, ensuring your family remains safe whilst off-grid. This dual focus on mechanical reliability and internal safety is what defines our comprehensive approach to leisure vehicle maintenance.

AWS Accredited Habitation Checks

A professional habitation survey is a systematic audit of your vehicle’s "home" elements. As an AWS-accredited facility, our checks are recognised by major manufacturers, which is essential for preserving your vehicle's warranty. This rigorous inspection covers four primary areas: gas safety, electrical systems (both 12v and 230v), water systems, and fire safety. We provide a detailed, evidence-based report that documents the condition of every component, from the fridge operation to the smoke alarm's expiry date. To maintain your warranty and ensure your peace of mind, you can book your motorhome habitation check with our specialist team today.

Damp Repair and External Resealing

Water ingress is the silent killer of leisure vehicles, often causing thousands of pounds in damage before it becomes visible to the naked eye. We utilise precision moisture-detection equipment to identify the early warning signs of damp, such as elevated moisture readings in wall panels or around window seals. Our methodical approach involves more than just a surface-level patch; we provide professional external resealing and structural damp repairs to restore the integrity of your vehicle. Early detection is vital for preventing the spread of rot and protecting your resale value. We invite you to explore our damp survey and repair services to see how our clinical assessment process can save your investment from costly long-term damage.

Advanced Technical Services: Wet Belts, EVs, and Upgrades

Modern vehicle engineering demands more than just mechanical skill; it requires an uncompromising commitment to technical mastery. At thurton auto centre, we have evolved alongside automotive technology to provide solutions for the most complex modern systems. From the high-voltage requirements of electric drivetrains to the intricate timing systems of high-efficiency combustion engines, our workshop is equipped for precision. We don't merely fix faults. We provide the specialised upgrades that enhance your vehicle's performance and comfort, ensuring it remains fit for purpose throughout its lifespan.

Wet Belt Replacement Specialists

The shift toward "belt-in-oil" or wet belt technology has improved engine efficiency but introduced a critical maintenance vulnerability. If neglected, these belts can degrade, leading to oil pump blockages and catastrophic engine failure. Repair costs for such failures frequently range from £4,000 to over £8,000, making proactive maintenance essential. We specialise in PSA engines and Ford EcoBoost and EcoBlue units, performing up to five replacements daily. Our technicians execute every Professional Wet Belt Replacement: Protecting Your Engine’s Integrity with surgical precision, using genuine manufacturer components to protect your engine's integrity. It's a disciplined process that prioritises longevity over a quick fix.

Future-Proofing Your Vehicle with EV Care

Electric and hybrid vehicles require a fundamentally different approach to servicing. High-voltage systems demand specialist technicians who understand the risks and requirements of electric drivetrains. At thurton auto centre, we have invested in the specific training and specialist EV and vehicle diagnostics equipment needed to maintain these modern machines. Unlike traditional combustion engines, EV care focuses on thermal management systems, battery health, and high-voltage cabling integrity. We provide a corporate-grade alternative to main dealers, ensuring your electric vehicle remains efficient and safe without the premium price tag often associated with specialist care.

Beyond essential repairs, we specialise in enhancing your off-grid freedom. We provide lithium battery upgrades for motorhomes, allowing for faster charging and deeper discharge cycles than traditional lead-acid alternatives. For those seeking year-round comfort, we are authorised installers for Truma air conditioning and diesel heaters. These systems ensure your living space remains climate-controlled regardless of the external weather. If your vehicle requires a technical upgrade or a critical maintenance check, you can book your technical service online to ensure your vehicle receives the expert attention it deserves.

Planning Your Visit to Thurton Auto Centre

When you visit thurton auto centre, the experience is as disciplined as the technical work performed in our bays. To ensure these essential safety tasks remain accessible, we offer Payment Assist. This allows you to spread the cost with Payment Assist, dividing your bill into four interest-free monthly instalments.
Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a motorhome habitation check at Thurton Auto Centre?

A motorhome habitation check is a systematic safety audit of your vehicle’s living quarters. Our technicians perform a disciplined inspection of the LPG gas system for leaks, test both 12v and 230v electrical circuits, and evaluate the water system's integrity. We also conduct a fire safety check and a precision damp survey to identify moisture ingress early. This comprehensive process ensures your vehicle remains safe and preserves its manufacturer warranty through our AWS accreditation.

How often should I have a wet belt replacement on my Ford engine?

We advise replacing the wet belt on Ford EcoBoost or EcoBlue engines every 6 years or 60,000 miles to prevent catastrophic failure. Whilst some manufacturers suggest longer intervals, our experience as specialists shows that belts often degrade earlier due to oil contamination. Replacing the belt proactively is a clinical necessity that avoids repair costs often exceeding £4,000. Our technicians perform these complex replacements daily with surgical precision and manufacturer-approved components.

Can Thurton Auto Centre perform MOTs on electric vehicles (EVs)?

Yes, we are fully equipped to perform Class 4 MOT tests on all electric and hybrid vehicles. Whilst EVs do not require a traditional emissions test, the inspection remains a rigorous audit of road-safety standards. We examine high-voltage cabling integrity, braking systems, and suspension components with the same methodical care applied to combustion engines. Our team at thurton auto centre is specifically trained in EV safety, ensuring your modern vehicle meets all legal requirements.

Do you offer damp surveys for caravans and motorhomes in Norfolk?

We provide professional damp surveys for all leisure vehicles at our specialist Norfolk facility. Using precision moisture-detection equipment, we identify hidden water ingress before it causes structural rot or expensive damage. If our survey reveals elevated moisture levels, we offer a methodical repair service, including professional external resealing. This evidence-based approach is essential for protecting your investment and maintaining the long-term resale value of your motorhome or caravan.

Is Thurton Auto Centre an approved workshop for leisure vehicle warranties?

Thurton Auto Centre is a fully accredited member of the Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS). This status is recognised by all major UK motorhome and caravan manufacturers, ensuring that any habitation checks or servicing we perform satisfy your warranty requirements. Choosing an AWS-accredited specialist provides you with a higher tier of technical competence and accountability. It ensures that your leisure vehicle is maintained to the rigorous standards demanded by the industry's leading professional bodies.

What are the benefits of a lithium battery upgrade for my campervan?

A lithium battery upgrade provides superior off-grid freedom by offering faster charging times and much deeper discharge cycles than traditional lead-acid alternatives. These units are significantly lighter and have a longer operational lifespan, making them a cost-effective investment for active tourers. This upgrade ensures your internal systems have a reliable power source for longer periods. It is an essential enhancement for owners who value independence and efficiency whilst travelling away from mains hookups.

How can I book an MOT or service online?

You can book your MOT or specialist service through our integrated online booking system available on our website. This platform provides 24/7 convenience, allowing you to select a time that fits your schedule with just a few clicks. Alternatively, you can call our office team directly on 01508501160 for technical guidance or to discuss more complex repairs. We prioritise clear communication and ensure you receive a professional handover for every visit.

Do you provide courtesy cars or a collection service for local repairs?

We offer a convenient collection and delivery service for customers located within a 50-mile radius of our facility. Understanding the specific classification of your vehicle is the first step toward a successful, stress-free experience. A Class 7 MOT is a mandatory requirement for goods vehicles with a design gross weight between 3,001kg and 3,500kg. Whilst smaller campervans often fall under the standard Class 4 category, the vast majority of modern, coach-built motorhomes reside firmly within Class 7 due to their substantial internal fittings and robust chassis designs. Ensuring your vehicle is tested against the correct standards is not merely a technicality; it is a fundamental aspect of the UK's road safety framework designed to keep heavy vehicles safe on public highways.

Is Your Motorhome Class 4 or Class 7?

Determining the correct category for your motorhome mot lowestoft begins with identifying the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). You can typically find this information on the chassis plate, which is often located under the bonnet or inside a door frame. If the plate indicates a weight between 3,001kg and 3,500kg, a Class 7 test is legally required. Accuracy here is vital. Should your vehicle exceed the 3,500kg threshold, it moves into an HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) category, which requires a different testing facility entirely. Misclassification can lead to more than just a refused test; it may invalidate your insurance policy in the event of a claim. At our local MOT and service centre, we provide the technical clarity needed to ensure your vehicle is categorised correctly from the moment you arrive.

The Legal Framework for Suffolk Leisure Travellers

The DVSA maintains rigorous standards for Class 7 vehicles to account for the increased braking distances and structural stresses associated with heavier loads. For owners in Beccles, Lowestoft, and Great Yarmouth, adhering to these annual requirements is essential once the vehicle reaches three years of age. Driving without a valid certificate carries heavy penalties, yet many owners are unaware of the "13-month rule." You can actually present your motorhome for its MOT up to one month (minus a day) before the current certificate expires whilst still preserving the original anniversary date. This allows for a proactive approach to maintenance, giving you ample time to address any technical findings before your next tour begins. If you are unsure of your expiry date or need to verify your vehicle's weight class, our team is available at 01508501160 to provide professional guidance and help you maintain full legal compliance.

Technical Breakdown: What Happens During a Class 7 MOT Inspection?

A Class 7 inspection is a rigorous diagnostic process designed for the unique burdens placed on leisure vehicle components. Unlike standard car tests, this assessment accounts for the constant, high-load environment your vehicle operates in. Our technicians employ specialised equipment to verify every safety-critical system against official national testing standards. When booking a motorhome mot lowestoft, you should expect a level of scrutiny that reflects the vehicle's design gross weight and complex structure.

Braking Efficiency and Heavy-Duty Suspension

Class 7 testing requires specialised brake rollers capable of handling heavier axles and wider wheelbases. Technicians perform precise calculations to ensure the braking force is sufficient for a vehicle weighing up to 3,500kg. We pay close attention to the load-sensing valve; this component adjusts braking pressure based on the weight the vehicle is carrying. In a motorhome, where weight distribution is often static but significant, its correct operation is vital for stability. We also inspect leaf springs and shock absorbers for signs of fatigue or "flattening," which is a common issue amongst vehicles that remain fully laden for long periods of time. Our methodical approach ensures that your suspension remains capable of managing the unique stresses of touring.

Tyres, Lights, and Visibility Standards

Tyres are a frequent failure point in the motorhome mot lowestoft process. We don't just check tread depth; we verify the load index and the presence of "CP" (Camping) rated tyres. These are specifically engineered to withstand higher pressures and the prolonged periods of inactivity typical of leisure travel. Sidewall integrity is equally critical, as UV exposure can cause perishing that compromises safety during high-speed motorway driving. Our inspection also covers external marker lights, which are mandatory for larger vehicles, and headlamp aim, which can shift over time due to rear-end sagging. We ensure that internal modifications, such as window blinds or large dashboard accessories, do not infringe upon the driver’s field of vision.

The structural integrity of the chassis and the efficiency of the exhaust system for large diesel engines round out the inspection. We look for corrosion in key load-bearing areas, particularly where the coach-built body meets the original chassis. This methodical approach ensures your vehicle is not just legally compliant, but truly safe for the road. If your test date is approaching, you can easily secure your appointment through our online booking system to ensure your vehicle receives this level of specialist attention.

Motorhome vs. Commercial Van: Why Specialist Expertise Matters

Whilst many commercial garages treat a motorhome as just another large van, the technical reality is far more nuanced. A standard commercial van is designed to carry variable loads that are often removed at the end of a working day. In contrast, a motorhome carries a permanent, heavy, and often unevenly distributed load consisting of furniture, appliances, and water tanks. This puts constant, specific stress on the suspension and chassis, requiring a technician who understands these unique dynamics. When booking your motorhome mot lowestoft, choosing a specialist ensures that these factors are considered during every stage of the inspection process.

The physical structure of a motorhome also presents challenges that standard commercial workshops are often ill-equipped to handle safely. Many leisure vehicles feature long rear overhangs that extend well beyond the rear axle. Using standard commercial lifts can cause significant stress to the chassis or even lead to ground strikes if the approach angles are not managed correctly. Our technicians strictly adhere to official inspection standards whilst employing specialist equipment designed to accommodate these extended bodies. This precision prevents structural damage that generic workshops might cause through improper handling or a lack of specialist awareness.

Protecting Your Leisure Investment

A motorhome is a high-value asset, often featuring delicate GRP or aluminium bodywork that is easily scratched or cracked in a high-volume commercial environment. Specialist centres provide a cleaner, more controlled setting that respects the premium nature of your vehicle. We understand that mechanical health is only one half of the equation. This is why we recommend pairing your annual test with motorhome habitation checks. While the MOT focuses on roadworthiness, the habitation check ensures your living space is safe, functional, and free from hidden faults that could ruin a planned tour.

Beyond the MOT: Habitation and Damp Surveys

It's a common misconception that a valid MOT certificate means a vehicle is entirely "road-trip ready." The MOT does not inspect the gas, water, or electrical systems within your living quarters. To ensure complete peace of mind, we often suggest a damp survey alongside your mechanical testing. Water ingress is the silent enemy of the motorhome; identifying it early can save thousands of pounds in structural repair costs. By integrating these services, you ensure that every aspect of your vehicle, from the braking system to the leisure battery, is in peak condition. For detailed advice on maintaining your vehicle’s longevity, our team is available at 01508501160 to discuss a comprehensive care plan.

Preparing Your Motorhome for MOT Success: A Professional Checklist

A proactive approach to your motorhome mot lowestoft can be the difference between a seamless pass and a frustrating failure. Many leisure vehicles fail on surprisingly simple items that could have been rectified in minutes. By following a methodical preparation routine, you ensure that our technicians can focus on the complex mechanical diagnostics rather than being forced to refuse a test due to basic obstructions or maintenance oversights. Preparation isn't just about passing; it's about verifying that your vehicle is genuinely safe for your next journey.

The Five-Minute Walkaround

Before you depart for the testing centre, perform a comprehensive walkaround. Check every external bulb, including indicators, brake lights, and the high-level marker lights common on coach-built bodies. Ensure your mirrors are secure and free from cracks that might distort your rearward vision. Fluid levels are equally critical; ensure your oil, brake fluid, and screenwash are topped up. A simple empty washer bottle is a common reason for failure, yet it takes seconds to resolve at home. These small checks demonstrate that the vehicle is well-maintained and ready for a professional inspection.

Weight Management and Cabin Clarity

We recommend presenting your motorhome in a "tour-ready" state regarding its weight. Testing a vehicle at its design gross weight provides the most accurate assessment of its braking efficiency and suspension behaviour under real-world conditions. However, the interior must be managed carefully. Clear the dashboard of all portable sat-navs, dash cams, or decorative items. Any object that encroaches into the wipers' sweep area can lead to a refusal to test. A clean, uncluttered cabin allows our technicians to perform their duties efficiently and safely, ensuring a thorough evaluation of the driver's field of vision.

Interior and Exterior Preparation

Inside the vehicle, ensure all seatbelts are accessible. This includes those in the habitation area if they are designated for use whilst the vehicle is in motion. If we cannot buckle a belt because it is hidden behind cushions or storage, we cannot verify its safety. Externally, ensure your number plates are clean and comply with British standards regarding font and spacing. Finally, verify that your wiper blades are not perished and that the washers provide a strong, clear spray across the windscreen. These visible elements are often the first things an inspector sees, and they set the tone for the rest of the test.

The Importance of a Pre-Sales Mechanical Check

If you have recently purchased a vehicle or are planning a significant continental tour, a pre-sales mechanical habitation check offers an extra layer of security. This professional assessment identifies "hidden" mechanical or habitation issues before they are recorded on the official DVSA portal. Addressing minor repairs in advance saves both time and money, ensuring your vehicle remains a reliable asset for years to come. It provides the technical reassurance that your motorhome is fit for purpose. To secure your slot and ensure your vehicle is ready for the road, you can book your appointment online today.

Why Thurton Auto Centre is the Premier Choice for Motorhome MOTs in Suffolk

Selecting a facility for your motorhome mot lowestoft requires a balance of technical precision and specialist care. Class 7 is specifically for heavier goods vehicles between 3,001kg and 3,500kg. Because many modern motorhomes are built on heavier chassis to accommodate internal fittings, they usually require the more rigorous Class 7 inspection to ensure their braking and structural components safely manage the additional mass.

How much does a Class 7 MOT cost for a motorhome in Lowestoft?

The maximum fee for a Class 7 MOT is regulated by the DVSA. Whilst we maintain competitive rates for a motorhome mot lowestoft, we recommend contacting our office directly at 01508501160 for our current professional service fees. This ensures you receive an accurate quote based on your specific vehicle and any additional requirements you may have, such as combined care plans.

Can I drive my motorhome to the test centre if the MOT has expired?

You may only drive a vehicle with an expired MOT if you're travelling to a pre-arranged test appointment. It's essential to have proof of this booking should you be stopped. Driving for any other reason without a valid certificate is illegal and will likely invalidate your insurance policy, putting your vehicle and financial security at significant risk.

Will my motorhome fail its MOT if the habitation area is cluttered?

A cluttered interior can lead to a refusal to test if it prevents the inspector from performing their duties safely. Specifically, if items on the dashboard obstruct the driver's field of vision or if luggage prevents access to seatbelts, the vehicle can't be accurately assessed. Clearing the cabin ensures a methodical inspection and prevents avoidable delays based on visibility standards.

Are tyres checked differently on a Class 7 motorhome MOT?

Tyres on a motorhome mot lowestoft are inspected with a specific focus on load indices and "CP" (Camping) designations. These tyres are engineered to handle higher pressures and the prolonged static loads typical of leisure vehicles. Our technicians also check for sidewall perishing and flat spots, which are common issues amongst motorhomes that remain stationary for extended periods between tours.

How long does a Class 7 MOT take to complete?

A standard Class 7 MOT typically takes between 45 and 60 minutes to complete. However, the unique dimensions of a motorhome often require additional time for safe positioning on our specialised lifts and brake rollers. We recommend allowing at least an hour for the process, ensuring our experts can conduct a thorough, evidence-based diagnostic of all safety-critical systems.

Do I need a separate habitation check if my motorhome passes its MOT?

Yes, a habitation check is essential because the MOT only covers automotive roadworthiness. The MOT doesn't inspect your gas, electrical, or water systems, nor does it check for damp. To ensure your living area is as safe as your engine and brakes, a separate habitation check should be performed annually to protect your health and your vehicle's structural integrity.

What happens if my motorhome fails its Class 7 MOT at your centre?

If your vehicle fails, we provide a transparent, detailed report explaining the specific reasons for the failure. Our team will discuss the necessary repairs and provide a professional estimate for the work. We prioritise clear communication to help you make an informed decision, ensuring your motorhome is returned to a safe, compliant condition as quickly as possible.

Disclaimer

Terms and Conditions
Who we are and how to contact us
https://wwwthurtonautocentre.co.uk is a site operated by Thurton Auto centre. Based on your energy needs, we’ll recommend the right setup — whether that’s a single 150W panel with MPPT controller or a full system with multiple panels, lithium battery and Bluetooth monitoring.

Some of the popular components we fit include:

Monocrystalline solar panels (more efficient in low light)

Victron MPPT charge controllers

Victron Smart Shunt monitoring

Victron Lithium batteries for faster charging and more cycles

DC-DC chargers if you're running a Euro 6 engine

Future-Proof Your Freedom

Solar panels are a long-term investment that pays for itself in convenience and independence. Today, we're thrilled to recount the unforgettable experience of one of our customers who recently laid eyes on their motorhome for the very first time after entrusting us to give their much loved motorhome some much needed TLC to rejuvenate its condition to as new as possible.

Picture the scene: anticipation building, heart racing, and then, there it is—the motorhome of their dreams, fully refurbished waiting to whisk them away on adventures yet to be written. For this particular customer, the first sight of their motorhome was nothing short of magical. It was more than just a vehicle; it represented freedom, exploration, and countless memories waiting to be made.

But it wasn't just about the vehicle itself; it was the service, the expertise, and the passion of the Thurton Auto Centre team that truly made the difference. Our dedicated staff ensured that every aspect of the customer's experience was seamless, from initial inquiries to the moment they drove off the lot with a smile that stretched from ear to ear.

A Word From Our Customer

"Well I’m not normally speechless but these guys achieved the impossible.

Having taken my tired looking motorhome to them to see if they could freshen it up, bit of body work, renew the sealant, sort out the cracks coming off the bike rack fixings, oh and solve the problem of rain coming into the awning from the roof !

Not much to ask eh ?

The guys went above and beyond, full paint job on back, all sealant refreshed( it’s now white ) wheels powder coated and brand new caps fitted, very smart and we have an experimental job on the roof to reroute rain water away from the side where the awning sits. Praying that it works as bailing out the awning on a morning is no fun.

At all times I was kept up to date with the work being done, even had photos of finished work sent through to me. Not enough to see the real deal, oh no, they wait for the big unveiling on the day of pick up for that and what an unveiling it is ……..

OMG ……….. I can’t believe I’m looking at the same tired motorhome that was …… this one, well

IT SPARKLES, the decals are brighter, the wheels are glowing like new, the sealant is white, the bike rack is polished up and refitted correctly so no more cracks, the painted back bodywork is showroom spec.

Nothing is too much for these guys, they achieve the impossible and as one of their team states “ Can’t is not a word you find in our workshop ! “

100% recommendation for these guys, I couldn’t be more happy

Lyn P
