At Thurton Auto Centre, we pride ourselves on delivering top quality services, including MOT testing, repairs, servicing, habitation and LPG gas checks, body shop repairs plus a full suite of valeting services. With a varied customer base ranging from private car owners, commercial vehicle business owners and motorhome owners, we have developed a range of services and solutions to ensure their motoring needs are catered for.
Our MOT & service centre is located directly off the A146 in Thurton just 6 miles from Norwich City centre and Beccles. We have a purpose built facility on a 1.5 acre site boasting 6 large workshop bays, and a two storey office block along with ample parking.
Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made us a trusted name in the community. We're looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team and help us continue to provide outstanding service to our valued customers.
You will joining us at a pivitol point in our business development as the position offers the stepping stones to becoming the service centre manager, and building your own team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns regarding their vehicles.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar efficiently.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed.
- Prepare and present accurate estimates for services and repairs.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service completion.
- Handle customer payments and invoice processing.
- **Work Experience**
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using automotive service software and systems.
- A valid driver's license.
