Thurton Auto Centre – Maintenance Plans Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase, use, and cancellation of all Maintenance Plans offered by Thurton Auto Centre Ltd, located at Norwich Road, Thurton, NR14 6AW. By purchasing a Maintenance Plan from us, you agree to these terms in full.


1. Definitions

  • "Maintenance Plan" refers to a prepaid or monthly payment service package offered by Thurton Auto Centre, which may include MOTs, mechanical servicing, habitation checks, valeting, and underbody protection.

  • "Customer" refers to the individual or company purchasing the Maintenance Plan.

  • "Vehicle" refers to the specific motorhome, caravan, campervan, or towing vehicle registered under the Maintenance Plan.


2. Plan Options & Inclusions

We offer three tiers of Maintenance Plans:

Bronze Plan

  • Interim Mechanical Service

  • MOT Test

  • Habitation Inspection

Silver Plan

Includes all items in the Bronze Plan, plus:

  • Exterior Valet Wash (including roof)

Gold Plan

Includes all items in the Silver Plan, plus:

  • Lanoguard Wax Underbody Protection Treatment

Note: All services included in the Maintenance Plan must be redeemed annually unless otherwise stated in writing.


3. Eligibility

  • Maintenance Plans are available to UK residents only.

  • The Vehicle must be registered in the UK and be in a roadworthy condition at the start of the Plan.

  • Vehicles over 10 years old or over 4,000 kg MTPLM may be subject to inspection before acceptance onto the Plan.


4. Duration & Renewal

  • Maintenance Plans are valid for 12 months from the date of activation, with the option to purchase a 2 or 3-year term.

  • Multi-year plans must be paid in full upfront or through approved monthly instalments.

  • Customers will be notified 30 days prior to expiry with renewal options.


5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment or approved monthly direct debit must be received before plan activation.

  • If a monthly payment is missed, Thurton Auto Centre reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Plan.

  • Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.


6. Bookings & Service Redemption

  • Customers must book all included services in advance by calling 01508 501160 or via our website: www.thurtonautocentre.co.uk.

  • Services are subject to workshop availability.

  • If services are not redeemed within the active term of the plan, they may be forfeited without refund.


7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customers may cancel their plan within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no services have been used.

  • After 14 days or after partial redemption, refunds are at the discretion of Thurton Auto Centre and will be subject to a pro-rata deduction for services already used.

  • In cases of early cancellation of a multi-year plan, an administration fee of £35 may apply.


8. Transferability

  • Maintenance Plans are non-transferable between vehicles or customers.

  • In certain cases (e.g. written agreement during a vehicle sale), Thurton Auto Centre may authorise a one-time transfer.


9. Liability

  • Thurton Auto Centre shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from delays, failure of vehicle components, or missed appointments.

  • The Maintenance Plan does not replace the need for insurance, roadside assistance, or manufacturer warranty coverage.


10. Amendments

  • Thurton Auto Centre reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.

  • Customers will be notified in writing of any significant changes at least 30 days in advance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
