Wolfie’s Trusted Companions Take the Scenic Route
As seen across the UK with Bo, Lyn, Beccy — and two cheeky director’s chairs from Thurton Auto Centre.

They say every great road trip has a star… but in this case, it’s not just the motorhome — it’s the chairs.

Travelling with “Wolfie,” their lovingly restored Auto-Sleeper Bourton, Bo, Lyn and Beccy took two Thurton Auto Centre-branded director’s chairs on a memorable UK tour. From the moment they were unstrapped from Wolfie’s undercarriage, these chairs have documented their own journey — and we’re here for every hilarious moment.

🪑 Stage 1 – Breakout in Hertfordshire

“Wouldn’t let the little devils out of their dark space even though we went past their home!”

Released and relishing life, the chairs made their first appearance at Hertford’s Camping and Caravanning Club Site.

🌞 Stage 2 – Blackmore Chill-Out

“Got me mate with me today!”

Now in pairs, the chairs were seen sunbathing in style. Bonus points for being parked up next to Wolfie and a vibrant yellow car.

🎢 Stage 3 – Seaside Antics in Blackpool

“Kiss Me Quick, Squeeze Me Slowly hats, and plenty of rock!”

Seaside traditions never looked so stylish. Blackpool South gave these chairs a proper British welcome.

💨 Stage 4 – West Coast Whirlwinds in Buxton

“The wind is definitely warmer over this side of the country.”

Nestled next to a plaque honouring The Earl of Derby, this chair enjoyed a brush with heritage — and survived a near-stream experience.

🌳 Stage 5 – Woodland Comfort in Delamere Forest

“Finally, a site I can be proud to be sat next to.”

With flowers in bloom and birdsong in the background, the chair reclined regally

👑 Stage 6 – Sandringham Send-Off

“The King’s Christmas Holiday Home. A bit wet, but I’m keeping dry.”

There’s no better place to wrap up a journey than Sandringham. And wrap up, the chairs did — with elegance and pride.
